Croffles or melted glacier raclette from the Pförtnerhaus, now available on the go. With our bike we bring freshly baked croffles or glacier raclette to your wedding, company party or summer apéro. Real croffle irons, fresh toppings, a small crew, plenty of enthusiasm.
How it works
We come to you
We arrive with the bike, croffle irons, dough and handmade mousses, and bake on site, sweet, savoury or both. You pick the selection with us, we bring everything, crew included.
Cheese instead of croffles
The bike also comes as a Raclette Bike: we melt our glacier raclette from Sennerei Pontresina fresh on site, with potatoes, cornichons and all the trimmings. The Raclette Bike runs all year round: winter events and Christmas dinners as well as summer parties. Melted cheese brings people together in every season.
Fits almost anything
Weddings and wedding apéros, company parties and team events, summer festivals, neighbourhood parties, birthdays, fairs and openings. Not sure your event fits? Just ask, we're easy-going.

How much does the Croffle Bike cost?
It depends on date, location, headcount and your croffle selection. Send us a short brief via the form, we usually reply within one to two working days with a quote and examples from past events.
How many guests does the Croffle Bike work for?
It works best from around 20 guests; beyond that we're flexible and pace the service accordingly. For very large events we'll discuss logistics and crew size in advance.
Does the Croffle Bike travel outside Basel?
Yes, we cover the region too. Distance and logistics are part of the quote, just include your event location in the form.
What's the difference between the Croffle Bike and the Raclette Bike?
Same bike, two worlds of indulgence: the Croffle Bike bakes sweet and savoury croffles fresh on site, the Raclette Bike melts glacier raclette from Sennerei Pontresina. Both together is possible on request.
