Zauberhof at the Pförtnerhaus
From 25 November to 23 December, our courtyard is one of Basel Tourism's «Zauberhöfe» (magic courtyards). For the occasion, we decorate the whole Pförtnerhaus.
Mulled wine, punch and raclette
Mulled wine, hot Aperol and punch are served from 5 pm to 9:30 pm. Alongside, we serve raclette fresh from the Raclette Bike.
With friends or on a walk
Come by with friends or stop in on your walk. You're also welcome if you simply want to linger for a while without ordering anything.
Two stories in the courtyard
Our little Pförtnerwichtel, the gatekeeper gnome, guides you through the history of the house and the site. On the stands in the courtyard you'll find QR codes for two stories with old and new pictures (in German).
