We serve breakfast Monday to Friday from 9:30 am until the kitchen closes. Even if your morning only starts in the afternoon.
Pförti Z'Morge
Our Pförti Z'Morge includes a fresh croissant, bread, butter, jam and cheese. Add bircher muesli with fruit and cream, Swiss Lachs or Grisons cured ham if you like. For something heartier, there's the Bergler Z'Morge with Grisons hard cheese, salsiz, fig mustard and bread.
A savoury start
For a savoury breakfast, try a Salty Croffle such as Parma Bandito with Grisons cured ham and parmesan mousse, or the Croff'Monsieur, our take on the croque monsieur with farmhouse ham, Gruyère, cherry tomatoes and chives. Add a glass of champagne if you like.
On the side
Our bircher muesli comes with fruit and cream. There are sweet croffles too, such as Sweet Blanco with cinnamon sugar or Grand Chocolat with Toblerone mousse.
Espresso, cappuccino, flat white, latte macchiato and matcha latte with chai or vanilla. Plus freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade lemonades and tea. Until 12 noon, there is a glass of Pol Roger as our Good Morning Champagne.
Swiss Lachs with horseradish mousse, Grisons cured ham with parmesan mousse, Engadin salsiz, salametti or a cheese selection.
At weekends, breakfast is only available on our scheduled Sunday brunch dates: a buffet in two seatings, CHF 39 including a hot drink, reservation required.

From what time can I have breakfast at Pförtnerhaus?
Monday to Friday from 9:30 am until the kitchen closes, in the afternoon too. At weekends, breakfast is only available on our Sunday brunch dates, which require a reservation.
Do I need to book for breakfast?
No, you don't need a reservation for breakfast. For groups of ten or more, please contact us in advance by phone or email.
What is a Croff'Monsieur?
Our take on the croque monsieur: farmhouse ham, Gruyère, cherry tomatoes and chives on freshly baked croffle dough, available all day.
Are there vegetarian and vegan options?
Vegetarian, yes: bircher muesli, the sweet croffles and the Vegi Love croffles such as Pumpkin Queen. For vegan options and allergies, please let us know before ordering.
What is the difference between breakfast and Sunday brunch?
Weekday breakfast is à la carte, Monday to Friday, no reservation needed. Sunday brunch is a buffet on selected Sundays in two seatings, CHF 39 including a hot drink, and requires a reservation.
